COMIC RELIEF

1.What is the comic relief? 
Comic relief is the inclusion of a humorous character, scene, or witty dialogue in an otherwise serious work, often to relieve tension.It usually means a releasing of emotional or other tension resulting from a comic episode interposed in the midst of serious or tragic elements in a drama.

2. Why is often used in horror films
Because sometimes comic relief characters will appear in horror that is comic. This generally occurs when the work enters a scary moment, but the character continues to be comical regardless.

3.Do you remember laughing in horror films? Can you think of an example?
Insidious Pardoy : A young couple experiences paranormal activity from an overbearing mother figure haunting their home as well as other ghostly intrusions in this parody.
